Heino von Prondzynski – President of the Supervisory Board – an Independent Member
In the past he served in several supervisory boards and boards of company's from medical pharmaceutical market (15-years experience) and diagnostics (20-years of experience).
He is nuclear physicist by education. He graduated from the Warsaw University from the Faculty of Physics in 1962. Between 1963-1968 he worked at Nuclear Research Institute in Świerk and afterwards he was a research worker at Warsaw University till 1971.
In 1971 he departured to Vienna and has been employed by Backman Instruments, the specialized in manufacturing of biochemical scientific and research equipment company, as Sales Manager for the Polish market to be soon afterwards responsible also for the then Soviet Union market. In 1974 he established and started to manage the Backman Instruments subsidiary in Warsaw.
In 1981 he established “Plastomed” (later transformed into PZ HTL S.A. – High Tech Lab) that specialized in liquid handling equipment manufacturing such as automatic micropipettes.
In late 90s he developed in a newly constructed plant located in the Special Economic Zone near Lodz a production of blood microsampling systems – automatic, safe and one-use only puncture devices.
In early 2005 together with other shareholders, he sold the pipettes manufacturing PZ HTL S.A. to the American investor and with that he concentrated on HTL–STREFA S.A. development.
Simultaneously with the business activity in 90s he also devoted himself to political activity. Initially he was active within Interpolkom, then in the Polish Chamber of Commerce where with combined powers of other businessmen and through Zbigniew Brzezinski’s initiative he built fundaments for Polish Business Roundtable. In the same time he joined the parliamentary activity as a member of parliament of 1st and 2nd term.
Graduated from the Technical University of Lodz majoring in automatics and electronics in 1972 and till the end of 1974 he was a scientific worker at Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements. Afterwards he worked on executive posts in various workplaces to eventually take the office of Electronics Production Director in PZ Karimex in Lodz.
In 1995 Wojciech Wyszogrodzki began his professional experience with PZ HTL S.A. (joint-stock company) as General Manager – Proxy, where he worked till the end of 2007 as President of the Management Board.
He works at HTL-STREFA since 2000, starting with a Management Board President, later as a Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Currently Member of the Supervisory Board.
Piotr Czapski - Member of the Supervisory Board
Partner leading EQT Partners office in Warsaw and EQT's operations in the CEE countries since September 2008.
Piotr holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Washington University, USA. After completion of his PhD he joined the Chrysler Corporations as a Research Engineer.
Returning to Poland he joined McKinsey & Co. where he became a partner and led McKinsey's Business Technology Practice in Eastern Europe. In the last 3.5 years before joining EQT he was a management board member of Netia S.A. In his role as a board member he was head of Strategy and Business Development, responsible also for M&A activities.
Bartek Trzebiński - Member of the Supervisory Board – an Independent Member
Bartek graduated with an MBA diploma from Harvard Business School in Boston, USA. He had worked as a research analyst at CA IB Securities in Warsaw and he worked with ABB Financial Services in Boston, Zurich, Brussels and Singapore before his studies in the US.
Bartek also graduated with a M.Sc. from the Warsaw School of Economics and a CEMS Master diploma from CEMS/Universita Bocconi in Milan. He became a CFA Charterholder in 2003.
Walter Koch - Member of the Supervisory Board
Walter Koch was born in 1962. He graduated from University for the Applied Sciences (Aalen, Germany) in 1988.
For almost two decades he obtained senior positions with the largest European home appliances manufacturers such as AEG and Electrolux, being in charge of Laogistics, Supply Chain Management, After Sales Service and Spare Parts. In 2077-2010 Mr. Koch served as Executive Vice-President and COO of Sanitec Corporation (Helsinki, Finland).
Presently Mr Koch owns and operates an independent consulting firm and is member of the Board of M.video, Russia. Mr Koch is a citizen of Germany.
Erik Zimmer - Member of the Supervisory Board
Erik is currently Vice President Commercial Operations Europe for Biomerieux, world leader in microbiology. Prior to that Erik was Vice President Europe at Convatec, and before that Senior Director for Asia/Pacific/CEE/MEA at Abbott in their diabetes care division. Erik has 20 years experience in the medical field, in various companies going from consulting to start ups to large multinationals. He has been responsible for sales, marketing and business development in a large number of geographic areas and has lived and worked in Europe, the USA, Japan and Singapore. Where Erik’s experience is adding value is in his knowledge of blood glucose monitoring, point of care, and his worldwide sales experience.
Of Dutch nationality, Erik lives in Spain and has a MBA with majors in management, marketing and finance from Kellogg in Evanston, Illinois and a BBA in marketing from the IMIP in Paris, France.
