In IIIQ2008 HTL-STREFA S.A. achieved a net profit of PLN 6,614 mln. Compared to IIIQ2007 it is over a quadruple progress. Sales revenues in IIIQ2008 reached PLN 33,745 mln and were an improvement of 72.8 percent when confronting with an analogous period of 2007.

Company’s results are in accordance with the 2008 forecasts. The annual prognosis fulfillment after 9 months reached 76.4 and 72.7 percent for safety lancets and personal lancets respectively.

According to prognosis the revenues from HTL-STREFA sales denominated in currencies will reach in 2008 EUR 22 mln, USD 21 mln and PLN 1 mln. Taken each currency separately the forecast fulfillment scored a result of 70.8 percent for EUR 94.5 percent for USD and 116.9 for PLN.

“We are on the best course to realize all of our plans for 2008.” – said Wojciech Wyszogrodzki, CEO of HTL-STREFA.

Impressive results of HTL-STREFA are due to the dynamic increase in sales. Safety lancets sales rose in IIIQ2008 by 108.5 percent and by 74.3 percent in personal lancets YoY.

“We are manufacturing at top gear but the market asks for more. It looks like the demand for our lancets has no end” – announced CEO Wojciech Wyszogrodzki.

In IIIQ2008 HTL-STREFA sold 168.3 mln pcs of safety lancets and 270 mln pcs of personal lancets and that results give after 9 months of 2008 a total of 504.4 mln pcs in safety lancets and 654.3 mln pcs in personal lancets sold.

Over the past 9 months the Company recorded a net profit of PLN 16.777 mln. The total net profit for 2007 was fixed at PLN 4.216 mln.
