The ranking of "Gazeta Finansowa" placed HTL-STREFA S.A. on the second step of the podium in the general classification giving up the field only to PZ CORMAY SA company.

The rank icluded all of the companies representing the pharmaceutical industry on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Companies were classified in three subrankings: highest dynamics of trade, the highest net profit growth and the highest rate of return in 2009 compared to 2008 The comprehensive ranking was prepared based on the results of companies in each subankings. In each category, companies have scored in such a way that the worst in this group received 1 point and the next one obtained 2 points and so on. The company that collected the most points after adding together the points gained in subrankings was announced the winner of the whole ranking.

HTL-STREFA SA was a strong winner in "Highest dynamics of trade" subrank within a year improving its sales revenue by 25.38 percent. (from PLN 142 783 thousand to PLN 179 028 thousand). In the subcategory of "Highest rate of return," the company took a high 4th place, bringing its shareholders a return on investment of 83.09 percent per year. Of all the pharmaceutical companies listed on WSE, HTL-STREFA has also reached the fifth highest growth of net profit ending 2009 with 39.28 percent increase of financial results.
